The Story Begins…

In 1921 Morris Sokol hit the dirt roads of historic Charleston on bicycle, peddling his goods to the masses. His natural salesmanship earned him a market, while his savvy perspective developed his presence. From a peddling street vendor, Morris grew his vision into the retail space of Morris Sokol Furniture at 510 King Street.

Fast Forward…

Today, Morris Sokol Furniture is an expansive 3-story corner showroom in the fashionable Upper King Design District. Morris' vision is alive today through his son, Joseph Sokol, and the fundamental principles of Family, Trust, and Loyalty are still the foundation of the business.

As the largest furniture showroom in Charleston, we strive to create a harmoniously diverse selection of home furnishings and accessories throughout our 37,000 square foot design space. We know how important it is for our customers to find exactly what they want within their individual style preferences, so we like to offer a wide variety while keeping our pieces stylish and current.
